Bush won the war with Clinton's military, and as soon as they had to start paying for it, people started dying.

Now, that was before the truth about Bush's lying on WMD and yellow cake came out in public, right? There's two year's difference, and so much has happened between those speeches. Anyone with a mind would have changed it during that period. His fault was that he believed their lying asses to begin with.

Remember waaaaaay back when Bush tried to exempt the Department of Homeland Security from American labor laws? No dice.
"Big news yesterday for federal employees everywhere as a federal judge struck down the Bush administration's rules for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). U.S. District Judge Rosemary M. Collyer said, "The regulations fail in their obligation to ensure collective bargaining rights to DHS employees"
"The Bush administration's DHS rules would have allowed the department to overturn any provision from a collective bargaining agreement, in short, meaning that the contract was not binding on the government, and hence not really a contract at all."
"What's more, this ruling is expected to reverberate throughout all government agencies..."

Anyone supporting this phony war won't be popular in 2008. The war stance isn't going to be as powerful an issue as the economy with gas hitting $3 gal. and interest rates rising. Again you will be hearing the Clintons saying, "It's the economy, stupid!" This war is in it's final throes of support with the public, wado. Surrender any hope of success in Iraq other than leaving. We will accept your surrender graciously.
It's over wado. This war will not be a winning issue in 2008.

I lost a son in Iraq and Cindy Sheehan does not speak for me.
I grieve with Mrs. Sheehan, for all too well I know the full measure of the agony she is forever going to endure. I honor her son for his service and sacrifice. However, I abhor all that she represents and those who would cast her as the symbol for parents of our fallen soldiers.

I dunno about the primaries thing...that one they tried to pass here was kinda weird...woulda allowed the other side to pick who they were running against....eeeek
What I was talking about was the justification for vote fraud...When you break down all the arguments over the numbers it always comes down to the argument of having x number of registered...like in 2004 even though ther was a strong anti bush sentiment in the republican party...

She Does Not Speak for Me
I lost a son in Iraq and Cindy Sheehan does not speak for me.
Although we all walk the same sad road of sorrow and agony, we walk it as individuals with all the refreshing uniqueness of our own thoughts shaped in large measure by the life and death of our own fallen hero. Over the past few days I have reached out to other parents and loved ones of fallen heroes in an attempt to find out their reactions to all the attention Mrs. Sheehan has attracted. What emerges from those conversations is an empathy for Mrs. Sheehan's suffering but a fundamental disagreement with her politics.

A Mercenary Society
The failed war in Iraq -- and its effect on the U.S. military -- has the potential to spark the U.S. public to fundamentally rethink the role of force in U.S. foreign policy, and one of the central questions for the future of the United States is whether this questioning can mature and deepen.

I think the DLC is the reason why some people vote for third party candiates. A democrat acting like a republican confuses the american public and creates more undecided people and they may vote for the third party candiates. This weakens the democratic party not strengthens it. I was with Evan Bayh but now I am with Feingold for president. It is just that a senator hasn't won the election since Kennedy. We need a govenor to be pro-peace. Has Fiengold ever been a govenor? Govenors seem to be better candiates than senators. Clinton, Carter, Reagon, and this fascist were all govenors.

It's the rule that says if you're too stupid to educate yourself, too stupid to be involved in the process and so stupid you want to be one of the almost 50% that don't vote, then the assholes you cede the process to trample you.
You don't think you forfeit your rights...read the Patriot Act.
Third party voting is still voting, no matter how ineffective. At least its an act of defiance.

I want a third party, or more.

She Does Not Speak for Me
I lost a son in Iraq and Cindy Sheehan does not speak for me.
Ann and Dale Hampton lost their only child, Capt. Kimberly Hampton, on Jan. 2, 2004, while she was flying her Kiowa helicopter. She was a member of the 82nd Airborne and the company commander. She had already served in Afghanistan before being deployed to Iraq. Ann Hampton wrote, "My grief sometimes seems unbearable, but I cannot add the additional baggage of anger. Mrs. Sheehan has every right to protest . . . but I cannot do that. I would be protesting the very thing that Kimberly believed in and died for."
Posted by: Anonymous Coward at August 18, 2005 9:31 PM
Cindy Sheehan just wants Bush to respond to a simple question in behalf of her son Casey that was eloquently expressed in an epitath...
To save your world you asked this man to die;
Would this man, could he see you now, ask why?

Then, for the main event, the trial and conviction of criminal Bush, much of his staff and most of his cabinet. I hope his love of the death penalty persists so he can do the job on himself in prison; he can pull a "death by taunting large minority gang members."

Larry Johnson enters the no-sanity zone
8/18/05 11:42:09
So today Michelle Malkin is outraged - outraged! - at Larry Johnson for his intemperate remarks directed at Charles Krauthammer. Here’s what Charles K had to say:
She says she wants to ask the president why her son died. She already knows her own answer, and her answer is -- and she’s said this openly -- to enrich the president’s friends, meaning oil companies and contractors. There are a lot of honorable reasons and thoughtful reasons to oppose the war in Iraq. That’s not one of them. And to advance the idea, as she has also, to the press of the entire world that we are in Iraq as a matter of imperialism is to demoralize our troops, encourage our enemies, and to encourage those who say that we are there as conquerors and not as liberators, which can only endanger our troops, which I think is a disgrace.

Historians' Committee for Fairness (#40982)
by Editor on August 31, 2004 at 11:19 PM
Editor: HNN received the following press release from historian Greg Robinson.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We represent the Historians' Committee for Fairness, an organization of scholars and professional researchers. Michelle Malkin's appearance on numerous television and radio shows and her comments during these appearances regarding her book IN DEFENSE OF INTERNMENT represent a blatant violation of professional standards of objectivity and fairness. Malkin is not a historian, and she states that she relied almost exclusively on research conducted or collected by others. Her book, which purports to defend the wartime treatment of Japanese Americans, did not go through peer review before publication. This work presents a version of history that is contradicted by several decades of scholarly research, including works by the official historian of the United States Army and an official U.S. government commission. In fact, the author's presentation of events is so distorted and historically inaccurate that, when challenged by reputable historians, she has herself conceded that her main thesis in incorrect, namely that the MAGIC intercepts of prewar Japanese diplomatic cable traffic, explain and justify the mass incarceration of Japanese Americans. As Malkin states, her critics have noted that "once the decision was made to evacuate ethnic Japanese from the West Coast, many ancillary decisions were made--and MAGIC doesn't explain all or even most of them. True...." (see her website, www.michellemalkin.com, August 6, 2004)
It is irresponsible of your producers to permit Michelle Malkin’s biased presentation of events to go unchallenged as a factual historical presentation. We therefore respectfully demand that you formally apologize to the Japanese Americans who have been slandered by Ms. Malkin's reckless presentation and invite a reputable historian to present a more even-handed view of the evidence.
Sincerely yours, (list incomplete, institutions for identification only)

The money appropriated for housing was stolen so many times by contractors that they had no homes. Then as winter came, the Army found apartments for them in Syracuse, NY, a five hour commute (both ways) on some of the worst winter roads in the USA. This is how Bush supports our troops.

I am not sure if they were union or not, because they ran out of money on three projects before they got to construction stage. The general contractor was a division of B & R, subsidery of Halliburton. The fourth contract was a division of Lend Lease out of California and just this week, they moved one family, yes one, into a renovated house. It cost you about 250 million in contract for this one house. The reason for the out of state contracts was obviously to punish Hillary. Sucker !

Hey Scott, it looks like the numbers have changed since you last posted...it use to be 47.7 percent said yes, now it's up to 48.something percent.
Might be fun to do another Majority Report Poll-tip, like Last year's glorious victory over the Hannity poll.

As far as I know, Malkin won't cop to her heritage. Heritage means nothing to people like this. She continues to advocate throwing all immigrants out of the country. This would include her parents.
She's a self-loathing psycho bitch. I feel sorry for her because she looks in the mirror, and loathes what she sees. God knows what kind of complexes she's giving her poor children.

I figure that any coorporation that outsouces to a commie country like China and hires commie workers so they can beat the American worker out of a fair wage must be a commie pinko corporation.
